1. Application
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all products in the Solution Oil web shop.
1.2 In addition to these general terms and conditions, additional terms and conditions may apply
to certain products if explicitly stated.
1.3 “Buyer” is understood to mean any visitor to the website or any natural or legal person who
has or will enter into a contractual relationship of whatever nature with Solution Oil.
1.4 Solution Oil reserves the right to change or supplement these terms and conditions from time
to time.
1.5 By using the Solution Oil internet site and / or placing an order, the buyer accepts these
general terms and conditions as well as all other rights and obligations as stated on the internet
1.6. Although we always do our best to keep this website running optimally, typing and pricing
errors and / or changes are always subject to change. No rights can be derived from this.

2. Offers
2.1 All offers from Solution Oil are without obligation. Offers are made subject to the availability
of the products.
2.2 An agreement is concluded when an order confirmation is sent or made via the internet site.
2.3 The Buyer and Solution Oil explicitly agree that a valid agreement is concluded by using
electronic forms of communication. In particular, the lack of an ordinary signature does not affect
the binding force of the offer and its acceptance. The electronic files of Solution Oil apply, as far
as the law allows, as a presumption of evidence.
2.4 Information, images, oral, telephone or e-mail communications and statements etcetera with
regard to all offers and the most important characteristics of the products are (displayed) as
accurately as possible. However, Solution Oil does not guarantee that all offers and products are
fully in accordance with the information provided, etc. In principle, deviations cannot give rise to
compensation and / or dissolution of the agreement.

3. Prices
3.1 All prices are expressed in euros in accordance with the legal regulations in this regard.
3.2 All product prices are inclusive of Dutch sales tax (VAT), but exclusive of other government
levies and exclusive of shipping costs, unless stated otherwise in the information relating to the
product. If the customer is not in the country of dispatch, the customer is responsible for any
applicable sales tax or import duties.
3.3 Special offers are only valid for the period of validity as stated in that offer.
3.4 All statements by Solution Oil of numbers, specifications and / or other indications of the
products have been made with care. However, Solution Oil cannot guarantee that there will be
no deviations in this respect.

4. Payment
4.1 Orders can be paid via the online payment options offered by Solution Oil (Ideal, credit card
or paypal) either by payment in advance, called “bank transfer”, or by invoice afterwards. The
latter is only available to repeat business customers, with the first delivery being proforma. This
means that business customers receive their first delivery via the online payment options (Ideal)
offered by Solution Oil or prepayment and can then be registered as an “account” customer. For
payments that are not yet paid after delivery, a payment term of 8 days is used. After a reminder,
the outstanding amount will still be settled in the absence of payment by judicial means.
4.2 All (extra) judicial costs of any nature whatsoever, which Solution Oil has had to incur as a
result of the purchaser’s non-fulfillment of his (payment) obligations, will be borne by the buyer.
4.3 In the event of late payment, Solution Oil is authorized to terminate the agreement with
immediate effect or to suspend (further) delivery until the moment at which the Buyer has fully
complied with the payment obligation, including the payment of the interest due and the costs
5. Delivery / delivery time

5.1 Delivery times stated on the website are an indication and not a deadline. Solution Oil is
never liable for damage as a result of exceeding delivery times.
5.2 If a product that is temporarily out of stock is ordered by the buyer, it will be indicated when
the product is available again. Delays will be reported to the buyer by email or telephone.
5.3 Solution Oil will arrange for delivery by post or dispatch in any other way at Solution Oil’s
discretion. Solution Oil remains the full owner of the delivered product (s) until the purchase
price has been paid in full.
5.4 Solution Oil is entitled to make partial deliveries. The additional costs for this are borne by
Solution Oil.
5.5 Different terms and conditions may apply to delivery abroad.

6. Exchange and right of withdrawal
6.1 For agreements that have been concluded via the internet site or in another manner in which
only electronic communication is used, the Buyer has the right to exercise a right of withdrawal
without penalty and without stating reasons within 14 working days after delivery of the product
in question, provided it is returned in unopened packaging. When a product has been specially
ordered for you as a customer, it may not be possible to cancel it.
6.2 If the Buyer has made use of the right of withdrawal as stated in the previous paragraph,
Solution Oil will arrange for a refund within 14 days of the amount paid by the Buyer to Solution

7. Force majeure
7.1 In case of force majeure Solution Oil is not obliged to fulfill its obligations towards the Buyer,
or the obligation is suspended for the duration of the force majeure.
7.2 Force majeure is understood to mean any circumstance beyond its control, which prevents
the fulfillment of its obligations towards the Buyer in whole or in part. These circumstances
include any form of (national) crisis, strikes, fire, business disruptions, power failures, nondelivery or late delivery from suppliers or other third parties and the lack of any government
license. Force majeure also includes failures in a (telecommunications) network or connection or
communication systems used and / or the unavailability of the internet site at any time.

8. Damages
8.1 Solution Oil can only be held liable for damage that can be attributed to its intent or gross
negligence, or that has arisen due to circumstances that are at its risk under mandatory legal

9. Applicable law / competent court
9.1 All legal relationships between Solution Oil and the Buyer are governed by Dutch law.
9.2 All disputes that may arise as a result of the present agreements or of further agreements that
may result therefrom, will be settled in accordance with the Regulations of the Dutch Arbitration
Institute or, if Solution Oil so chooses, the competent court of the place of residence or domicile
of Solution Oil or the Buyer. The proceedings will be conducted in the Dutch language.
